Johannes Spieler and Johannes Kühberger were honored by the board of trustees at Francisco Josephinum for their diploma thesis "Fatty Acid Extraction from Environmental Samples as Part of Long-Term Research at Lake Lunz," which was created in collaboration with the WasserCluster. Along with Samuel Kämmer, who supervised the interns last summer, the entire team is delighted for the successful graduates and extends heartfelt congratulations!
The technicians at WasserCluster Lunz completed an important informative rescue exercise. Regular sampling from the boat requires the best possible safety concept as well as training and preparation for emergencies.
Equipped with snorkeling gear or waders, a WCL team set off on a major clean-up operation: the shore areas of Lake Lunz were cleared of several bags of garbage, which certainly had no place in the lake.
