Cihelio Amorim and Martin Kainz are investigating the interactions between pond management, biodiversity, water balance and regional climate as part of the ‘TeichFit’ research project funded by the province of Lower Austria. A new study by the two scientists entitled ‘Shifts in Assembly Rules and Loss of Zooplankton Functional Diversity Across Hypereutrophic Fishponds’ was recently published in the scientific journal Ecology Letters.
